“Ukraïner. The Movie” tells the story of one working day in the least-known country in Europe. The characters who appear in this film bear no relation to each other: their worlds are different and unique, and build up a picture of a country united by its very diversity.

Ukrainer is a media project aiming to help Ukrainians and the rest of the world learn about unknown authentic Ukraine. This profound anthropological ethnographic expedition lasted from June 2016 until October 2018 and covered all 16 historic regions of Ukraine, from Slobozhanshchyna to Podillia, and from Volyn to Tavria. The 80-min film will show one day form the life of Ukraine covering the most fascinating findings of the project.
