The film ‘This Rain Will Never Stop’ directed by Ukrainian Alina Gorlova, received the Best Film Award at the Iceland Documentary Film Festival. This is the seventh Grand Prix of the film, as State Film Agency of Ukraine reports.

‘This Rain Will Never Stop’ is a powerful and visually impressive journey of 20-year-old Andriy Suleyman and his family in the endless cycle of war and peace. The protagonist of the film, who moved with his father from Syria, is facing another military conflict in Ukraine, where he is a Red Cross volunteer. After his father’s death, Andriy decides to bury his body in Syria.
